SCIENTIFIC NAME: Thunnus albacares (yellowfin); Thunnus obesus (bigeye). MARKET NAME(S): Ahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna. SIZE RANGE: To 250 lbs, but long line fish average 35 to 120 lbs. Our products mainly deal with the seafood found in the Vietnam region.
